Vickie (Husat) Greenwald's Obituary
Vickie (Husat) Greenwald, 54, of 392 Linwood Dr., Alliance, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at 2:20 p.m. at Community Care Center. A lifelong resident of Alliance, Vickie was born on May 22, 1950. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Vickie attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Alliance High School. She was the co-founder and president of the St. Joseph School Alumni Association. She cherished her grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking, plants, and gardening. Vickie is survived by her husband, Kenneth C. Greenwald whom she married on May 4, 1988; a daughter, Monique Townes of Canton; two sons, Jason Townes of Canton and Anthony Townes of Canton; six grandchildren; a sister, Genie Bath of Alliance: a half-sister, Ann Sadler of Minerva; a half-brother, Charles Husat of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson; and her parents, Victor and Loretta (Sorge) Husat. A Memorial Service will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. There will be no calling hours. Following services, the family will gather at the home of Genie Bath at 739 Wright Avenue.
