Vesta M. Walizer 's Obituary
Vesta M. Walizer, 84, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday morning, March 18, 2017 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton, Ohio.
Born on July 2, 1932 in Lexington Twp, Ohio to Martin B. and Pearl R. (Oesch) Armstrong, she lived in Alliance for all of her life.
A 1949 graduate of Alliance High School, Vesta was employed at First National Bank in the Proof Department until her marriage and raising her family.
She was a very strong and courageous woman, a devoted mother and a beautiful kind hearted “swell blonde”. She had a great love for her family and all animals.
Survivors include two sons, Daryl L. Walizer of Alliance, OH, Craig (Tina) L. Walizer of Indianapolis, IN; grandson, Griffin Walizer; and four wonderful nieces in California.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Kathryn Tennis; and an infant brother, John T. Armstrong.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Alliance City Cemetery.
