Twyla Rose Grimm's Obituary
Twyla Rose Grimm, 80, of Alliance, died on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 1:00 a.m. at Roselawn Terrace surrounded by her family. She was born on November 3, 1927 in Harrisburg, OH and lived in the Alliance and Marlboro areas all of her life. She was a graduate of Marlboro High School. Mrs. Grimm was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Sacristy Cleaning Ladies. Twyla is survived by four daughters, Jo-Ann (Andre Petracco) Layne of Alliance, Linda (Jim) Wayt of Alliance, Mary Lou (Paul) Hahlen of Beloit and Tina (Bob) Workman of Deerfield; six sons, Robert (Judy) Grimm of Brandywine, WV, Thomas (Donna) Grimm of Minerva, Timothy (Deb) Grimm of Salem, James (Beth) Grimm of Damascus, Rex (Stephanie Steele) Grimm of Alliance and Clifford (Mindy McCracken) Grimm of Alliance; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Florea of Tipp City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death was her husband, Joe R. Grimm on April 18, 2006, whom she married on April 3, 1948; her parents, Lee and Doris (Haidet) Wood; a sister, Helen Green; and a brother, Wayne Wood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, July 7, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
