Tim J. Shea's Obituary
Tim J. Shea, 93, of Alliance, died on Sunday, April 17, 2005, at 11:15 p.m. at the Bel Air Senior Living Community. Born in Alliance on March 14, 1912, Mr. Shea lived in Alliance all of his life. Tim retired from the Alliance Machine Company as a machinist in 1974 after 33 years of service. He worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1934 to 1935. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Virginia Oprandi of Homeworth; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Gladys M. (Bailey) Shea on May 26, 2003; his parents, John and Margaret (Pratt) Shea; five sisters, Ann Ottle, Helen Proffit, Hazel Robertson, Agnes Fox, and Mary Shea; and four brothers, John, Daniel, Harry, and Edwin Shea. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Internment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
