Thomas H. Carrozzi's Obituary
Thomas H. Carrozzi, 58, of Alliance, died on Sunday, September 10, 2006, at 8:41 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Tom was born on June 15, 1948 in Cleveland and lived in Alliance most of his life. He attended Alliance High School and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the U.S. Navy. He attended basic training in Great Lakes before being stationed in Holy Locke, Scotland. Tom was employed with A. H. VanKampen Foods before his retirement in 2002 due to health problems. He was a private cheerleader for the Popovich Dance Studio and was a co-leader with the Girl Scouts Troop #337. He is survived by his wife, Corrina (Binius) Carrozzi whom he married on October 24, 1987; a daughter, Natalya L. Carrozzi of the home; a sister, Sue (Robert) Loncaric of Clovis, SC; two brothers, Patrick (Denise) Carrozzi and James (Karen) Carrozzi, both of Ravenna; many nieces and nephews; and an extended family of friends. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Pasquale Carrozzi; his mother, Mary L. (Blythe) Carrozzi O Dell; and a step-father, Robert O Dell. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Kiser of the Pennsylvania Free Will Baptist Church of Alliance, officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
