Theresa Hess' Obituary
Theresa Hess, 70, of Sebring, died on Friday, December 26, 2003, at 7:15 a.m. at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Limaville on June 30, 1933 and had lived most of her life in Alliance. Mrs. Hess was a graduate of Alliance High School. She was formerly employed as a cook at the Crystal Lounge and had retired from the College Plaza Bowling Lanes where she had been a waitress. Her life centered around activities involving her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Gary (Colleen) Ward of New Castle, Pa; Dwaine (Bonnie) Ward of Sebring, Janet Taylor of Sebring, Pamel Carroll (Glen) Bozman of Alliance, John (Debbie Gillman) Ward, of Alliance, Melanie (Donnie) Bugara of Alliance, and Eric Paxson; her grandchildren, Randy Bugara of Canton, Gregory Ward of New Castle, Pa., Jody Ward of Sebring, Nickole Taylor of Sebring, Tyler Bugara of Alliance, Alex Bligara of Alliance, Alexa Ward of Louisville, Cory ,Wagner of Sebring, Carli Botiner of Las Vegas, Nv., Nicole Paxson of Louisville, James Paxon of Louisville; a great-grandchild, Halee Ward of New Castle, Pa.; her brothers and sisters, Robert (Maxine) Lentz of Alliance, John A. (Polly) Elliott of Toney, AI., and Garnetta Volpe of Salem; and several nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Nellie Irene (Elliott) Mauck, her first husband, Norman Ward; her second husband, Jay Hess; her sister, Isla Horsfall; and her grandson, Andy Bugara. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, December 29, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at funeral home on Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at 11 :00 a.m. with the Rev. James White, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
