Thelma Nadine Kennedy's Obituary
Thelma Nadine Kennedy, 75, of Sebring, died on Friday, October 24, 2003 at 6:50 p.m. at her home. Born in Damascus on January 6, 1928, she lived in the Sebring area all her life, was a graduate of Sebring High School, and had attended the Alliance First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Kennedy was a registered nurse employed by Aultman Hospital and had retired as assistant manager from the Country Manor Restaurant. She is survived by her husband, Edward Kennedy, Sr., (whom she married on August 30, 1969); two daughters, Deborah Miner of Minerva; Vicki Tignor of Roseville; five sons, Doug Speakman of Minerva, Rick Speakman of Minerva, Kevin Speakman of New Franklin, Ray Kennedy of Massillon, Ron Kennedy of Canton, and Edward Kennedy, Jr. of N. Benton; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Jean Rogers of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Burdell and Beulah (Mani) McCausland; and a grandson. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke uneral Home on Monday, October 27, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Ping, officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
