Theda N. Schneider 's Obituary
Theda N. Schneider, 89, of Alliance, went home to be with her husband on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. at her home.
Born on March 20, 1925 in Moultrie, Ohio to Howard L. and Eliza May (Evans) Geiselman, she lived in the Alliance and Minerva areas for most of her life.
A 1943 graduate of Minerva High School, she was member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Alliance Senior Citizens and the former Saxon Lodge.
Theda had been employed at the Natural Gas Co. before her marriage, and later had been a payroll clerk with Alliance Clay Products and a clerk with Fashion Bug, where she had retired.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Howard) Irwin of Alliance; a granddaughter, Renee Irwin of Canton; a grandson, Paul Irwin of Alliance; her brother, Richard (Shirley) Geiselman of Minerva; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul L. Schneider, whom she married on November 27, 1948 and died on July 26, 1982; her son, Ronald Schneider; her parents; three brothers, Robert (Verna) Geiselman, John Geiselman, and Wayne (Virginia) Geiselman; and two sisters, Esther Geiselman, and Doris (Kenneth) Betz.
Private services will be held. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the choice of the donor.
Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
