Terry M. Aldridge's Obituary
Terry M. Aldridge, 63, of Malvern, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. at his home. Born in Ironton, Ohio, on September 18, 1940, Terry lived in Alliance most of his life moving to Lake Mohawk in Malvern in 1993. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1959 serving as Esquire Club president his senior year. He was also a member of Boy Scouts of America among other organizations. Terry was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the maintenance department of Daimer Chrysler Corporation with 39 years of service. Mr. Aldridge was an active member of the B.P.O. Elks #467 for 24 years. He was named Elk of the Year for 1995-1996. He recently received an award for his contributions and dedication to the veterans. He is survived by his wife, Dee; two daughters, Lisa A. (Robert) Rockwell of Homeworth, and Heather (Lance) Stocker of Alliance; two sons, Terry M. Aldridge, Jr., of Alliance, and Jason M. (Tammy) Aldridge of Cuyahoga Falls; three grandchildren, Rachel and Chris Rockwell, and Morgan Stocker; his mother and stepfather, James J.D. and Nora (Collins) Donohoe of Alliance; two sisters, Peggy (Roger) Felton of Carrollton and Mary (Larry) Stout of Michigan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Ann (McGinnis) Aldridge; and his father, Raymond E. Aldridge. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23, 2003, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A B.P .0. Elks memorial service will precede the calling hours at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 24, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Scott of the Faith Fellowship Chapel of Massillon officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036 and the Vietnam Vets, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
