Tammi Marie Benning's Obituary
Tammi Marie Benning, 43, of Alliance, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 6:54 pm at her home in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on January 11, 1977 in Alliance to Richard and Gay Ann (Campbell) Benning, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
She attended Marlington High School and was employed at several Alliance restaurants including Chives Grille as a waitress for the past eight years.
Tammi loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, followed the Cleveland Indians, collected Elvis memorabilia and old movie posters, and truly loved all of her animals.
Survivors include her son, Robert Andrew Dosa, II of Tyler, TX; her daughter, Campbell Grace Dosa of the home; a step-daughter, Madisin KJ Dosa of Wilmington, DE; a step-son, Shaylor G. Schreckengost of Wilmington, DE; two step-grandsons, Cameron M. Celli and Cayden A. Celli; her step-granddaughter, McKenna A. Celli; Longtime Companion, Robert Dosa of Alliance; her father and step-mother, Richard (Teresa) Benning of Alliance; step-father, Mark A. Burns; her sister, Christine M. Fernandez of Alliance; a step-brother, Jason J. Jarvis; two step-sisters, Christie L. McNutt and Cassie E. Rice; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and her Chives friends and family.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Gay Ann Burns; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Tammi’s children at Chase Bank Alliance in care of Richard and Teresa Benning.
