Sylvia Joyce Milovich's Obituary
Sylvia Joyce (Eaton) Milovich, 90, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 12:03 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 12, 1933 in Alliance to Raymond and Verna (Akenhead) Eaton, She grew up in Sebring, but after her marriage to Mike, she lived in Alliance the rest of her life.
A 1951 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School, she graduated from Kent State University, Magna Cum Laude.
Sylvia was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was a teacher at St. Street Junior High, worked in the office at Royal China, and retired from the Alliance Eye and Ear Clinic in 2001 after 26 years of service.
Sylvia enjoyed bowling. She bowled in several leagues with her husband and also in a woman’s league with her sisters-in-law on a family sponsored team, “Milovich Signs”. She was an avid reader and loved attending her grandsons soccer games and family gatherings.
Survivors include her only child, Michelle Milovich-McKenna of Alliance; two grandsons, E.J. (Kylee) McKenna V and Michael McKenna; a great-grandson, Joey McKenna VI; cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Michael Joseph Milovich, whom she married on June 23, 1956 and who died on December 24, 1992; her parents; and a brother, Thomas Eaton.
A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Highland Memorial Park.

Her life was wonderfully lived, filled with family and friends.
