Steve C. Datsko's Obituary
Steve C. Datsko, 78, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at 8:45 a.m. at the Community Care Center. Born in Wehrum, Pennsylvania on December 1, 1924, he had been a resident of Alliance since 1970 and a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. A retired engineer from Babcock & Wilcox, Mr. Datsko was a member of the American Chemical Society, ASME, and was a past president of Sleepy Hollow Country Club. He is survived by a daughter, Sharyn Eberhart of Farmington, NY; a son, Gary Datsko of Columbus; four grandchildren; two brothers, Nickolas Datsko of Ebensburg, Pa. and Joseph Datsko of Ann Arbor, Mich; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor (Hornack) Datsko; and his parents, Metro and Julia (Melko) Datsko. Private services will be held. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
