Stephanie Rose Kozma's Obituary
Stephanie Rose Kozma, 61, of Warren, formerly of Alliance, died on Sunday, May 16, 2004, at McCrea Manor where she was lovingly cared for. Born in Alliance on November 16, 1942, she graduated from Alliance High School and Kent State University. She lived in Warren, OH, for 24 years. Stephanie's first job was at Western & Southern Insurance Company, after graduating from college, she worked in the field of mental retardation and developmental disabilities. She worked for the Columbiana Board of MR/DD and later worked for the state of Ohio Department of MR/DD. She finished her career working for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and had a deep spiritual faith and a loving soul. She is survived by her brother, Michael; nephews, Stephen (Angie) Craig and Jason Kozma; several aunts, an uncle and cousins; and many dear friends. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Rose (Syersak) Kozma; and a brother, Stephen Craig. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, May 20, 2004, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 21, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Carol Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
