Stanley W. "Chuck" Peddicord's Obituary
Stanley W. "Chuck" Peddicord, 74, of 215 Don Street, Minerva, died on Friday, May 10, 2002 at his home. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on February 1, 1928, he had lived most of his life in the Alliance area, moving to Minerva this past year. Mr. Peddicord was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and had retired from American Steel Foundries. He was a member of the Grace Chapel in Minerva. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia, Linda and Kathleen; two sons, Michael and James; ten grandchildren, Laura, Paul, Christine, Aaron, Heather, Andrew, Justin, Steven, Caitlyn and Gretchen; a brother, Jack; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife Barbara Jean (Whitmer) Peddicord on Feb. 15, 1997 (they were married on Sept. 23, 1944); three infant daughters, Carol Marie, Anna Marie and Donna Jean; a granddaughter Deseree; his parents, Milford and Dorothy Blanche (Stanley) Peddicord; and a sister, Patricia. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 14, 2002, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 p.m., with Pastor Kirt Henman officiating.
