Silvester "Silver" Falcone's Obituary
Silvester "Silver" Falcone, 78, of Deerfield, died on Thursday, September 25, 2003, at 5:45 p.m. at his home. Born in Alliance on February 16, 1925, he was a resident of the Alliance area all his life and was a graduate of Alliance High School. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Lake Milton, and was a longtime former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. A U.S. Anny veteran of World War II, Mr. Falcone retired as a machinist from Alliance Machine Co. in 1986 after 40 years of service and was a member of the Dante Alighieri Society. He is survived by his wife, Elsie J. (Peloso) Falcone, (they were married on June 28, 1952); three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Rodney Clarkson of Minerva, Marcia and Paul Domino of Alliance, and Suzanne and Tim Hahn of Alliance; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Jacqueline Falcone of Canton, and Jerald and Tracy Falcone of Alliance; 11 grandchildren, Jessamyn Falcone, Lindsey and Carlos Franco, Benjamin Clarkson, Michael, Matthew and Christopher Domino, Joshua and Lauren Hahn, Tyler Cugini, and Nicolas and Samuel Falcone; sister, Angeline Sorge of Temple, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Don Seacrist of Alliance; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Nell Falcone of N. Canton; brothers, Marcus, John and Thomas Falcone all of Alliance; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven; his parents, Vincent and Rose (Nuccetteli) Falcone; brother, Mario Falcone and an infant brother, Silvester Falcone. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, September 28, 2003, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, September 29, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. David Merzweiler and the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as concelebrants. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery following cremation.
