Shirley Ann Polverine's Obituary
Shirley Ann Polverine, 71, of Alliance, died on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 8:17 a.m. in her home. She was born on November, 25, 1935 and lived in Alliance most of her life. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mrs. Polverine was also a member of the VFW Post #1036 and the American Legion. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Wittensoldener of Hartville, and Elaine Aderhold of Irmo, S.C.; a son Paul Poverine of Middlefield; seven grandsons; one granddaughter; sisters Nancy Loudin of Atwater, and Marie Horning of Canton; brothers, William "Bill" Toot of Youngstown and Harry Toot of Kensington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent L. "Jim" Polverine on March 29, 2000, whom she married on July 19, 1952; a son Michael John Polverine and her parents, Frank and Ruth (Donaldson) Toot. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, from 10:00 - 11:00 a. m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
