Shirley C. (Sadler) Egli's Obituary
Shirley C. (Sadler) Egli, 86, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sterling House of Alliance. Born on August 19, 1926 in Grove City, PA, she lived in Alliance most of her life and was a 1944 graduate of Alliance High School. She retired from the W. J. Egli Company, which she and her late husband co-founded in 1963. In her past-time, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Matt) Stuffel of Alliance; two sons, Mike (Cheryl) Egli of Sebring and Jeff (Ann) Egli of Alliance; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her feline companion, "Turtle". Preceding her in death was her husband, Wilford J. "Bill" Egli on October 13, 2007, whom she married on November 7, 1944; her parents, Harry and Florence (Robson) Sadler; and a sister, Jean Freshley. Per Shirley s request, there will be no services or calling hours. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
