Shirley Ann Augustein's Obituary
Shirley Ann Augustein, 68, of Alliance, died on Monday, May 30, 2005, at her home. Born on March 19, 1937, she lived in the Alliance area most of her life. Mrs. Augustein was a member of the Ladies of the Amaranth of the Masonic Temple and the Tri-County UFO Study Group. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, painting, reading and animal rescues. She is survived by two sons, Ernie (Karen) Augustein of Kansas and Rocky (Carol) Augustein of Germany; three daughters, Susan (Rick) Sebrell of Boardman, Ruthie Augustein who resided with her mom, and Doris Augustein of W. VA.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herbert (Helen) Aeling of Minerva. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clement Augustein in 1991; two sons, Paul William Augustein in 1971 and a son who died in infancy; her parents, Otha William and Ruth Ernestine (Donahue) Aeling; and two brothers, Delbert and Leonard Aeling. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Sue's home for family and close friends on Thursday, June 2, at 1:00 p.m. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
