Shirley L. Anderson 's Obituary
Shirley L. Hoebeke - Anderson, 82, of Beloit, passed away following a long illness on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Community Care Center in Alliance.
Born on August 5, 1936 in Alliance, to William and Florence (Stahl) Hunt, she lived in the Alliance area most of her life.
Shirley attended Alliance High School and was a member of the Alliance Church of Christ.
Shirley worked as an inspector at Mr. Coffee and also worked in housekeeping at various nursing home facilities in Alliance.
She was a member of the DAV Chapter 50 Auxiliary.
Shirley enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and the slot machines.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Anderson, Sr. of Beloit; three sons, Paul (Montie) Hoebeke, Kevin (Cheryl) Hoebeke and Jeff (Theresa) Hoebeke, all of Alliance; her daughter, Cathy (Jay) Leasure of Minerva; two step-sons, James E. (Stephanie) Anderson Jr. of Austintown and Steven D. Anderson of Canton; three step-daughters, Tricia L. (Darrell) Salaski of Alliance, Rebecca S. (Rick) Clark of Damascus and Kelly M. Anderson of Alliance; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Isabelle Ahlstrom of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Kenneth Hoebeke; her son, Brian Hoebeke; her parents; three sisters, Irene, Viola and Donna; and three brothers, Clyde, Nelson and Virgil.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Alliance City Cemetery Chapel with Dennis Simmons, of Alliance Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
