Sherrie Ann Kallas' Obituary
Sherrie Ann Kallas, 44, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Alliance, died on Sunday, July 9, 2006, at North Broward Medical Center in Deerfield Beach, FL, due to complications from Lupus. Sherrie was born in Akron on February 13, 1962, and graduated from Alliance High School and Stark Technical College. Sherrie was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed at Publix Supermarket until her disability. She is survived by her longtime friend and companion, Gregory J. King of FL; her mother, Jennie (Calderone) Kallas of Alliance; four sisters, Sarah (Kallas) Alworth of Alliance, Melanie (Kallas) Duckworth of FL, Sheila (Kenneth) Berwinkle of Canal Fulton, and Joyce (Michael) Vanlue of ID; a brother, Steven Coiner of MI; nephews, John Nicholas Duckworth of FL and Richard Theodore Alworth of Alliance; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, George Steven Kallas. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
