Sharon L. Johnson's Obituary
Sharon L. Johnson, 78, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 8:35 am at Roselawn Gardens in Alliance.
Born on October 7, 1942 in Alliance, to Walter and Margarette (McLellan) Johnson, she lived in the Alliance and Sebring areas all of her life.
Sharon was a member of Union Avenue Church of Christ and a member of the American Legion, Post 166, Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Linette Young-Gajovski of North Benton; four sons, Walter Young of Alliance, Leroy Young of Sebring, Richard Young, Jr. of Akron and John Young of Alliance; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Stone of Parma; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Tina Young; a son, Jerry Lee Blake, II; four sisters, Sandra Funk, Shirley Kelly, Sharlene Shortridge and Sheila Layne; a brother, Walter “Nick” Johnson; and former husband, Richard Young, Sr.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
