Scott Freeders' Obituary
Scott Freeders, 39, of Ravenna, died on Sunday, October 12, 2003, at 8:42 p.m. at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Born in Alliance on February 11, 1964, he lived in Alliance until moving to Ravenna 12 years ago. Scott graduated from Alliance High School and received a degree in computer drafting from the University of Akron. Currently employed at Hirst Construction of Ravenna, he was the former head of maintenance at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ravenna where he was a member. He also belonged to the Alliance Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Carnahan) Freeders, (they were married on Sept. 27, 1984); three sons, John Frederick Freeders II, Shad Justin Freeders, and Austin Reay Freeders, all of the home; his mother, Mary Margaret Kato of Wilmington, NC; his dear friend, who has been like a father, Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Sabatino; four brothers, Thomas James Freeders and Michael Joseph Freeders, both of Alliance, Keith Howard Freeders of Wilmington, NC, and David John Freeders of Ravenna; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Frederick Freeders,I; his grandmother, Mary Catherine DeWan; and grandparents, Florence and Joseph Freeders. The family will receive friends at Walton-Schrader Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15, 2003, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, October 16, 2003, at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Sabatino and the Rev. Donald L. Feicht as concelebrants. Interment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Ravenna. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
