Samuel P. Yates' Obituary
Samuel P. Yates, 95, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 7:15 am at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1918 in Sturgeon Pennsylvania to Samuel C. and Zelma (Montigny) Yates and lived in Alliance for most of his life. A veteran of WWII, he served our country in the U.S. Navy. Samuel retired as a Foreman from Morgan Engineering after many years of service. Samuel is survived by his cousin, Gary (Linda) Byers of Lake Forest, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel C. and Zelma (Montigny) Yates; and a sister, Lois Yates. Graveside Service will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
