Samuel J. Rupp's Obituary
Samuel J. Rupp I., 76, of Sebring, passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his home in Sebring, Ohio.
Born on June 9, 1946 in Maximo, to Loretta Rupp, he lived in the Sebring area for most of his life.
A veteran of the Vietnam Era, he served our country in the U.S. Army as a mechanic.
Samuel was employed at American Steel Foundry as a Crane / Furnace Operator for over 30 years.
Samuel enjoyed watching westerns and old courtroom dramas and listening to country music on the radio.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra K. (Burns) Rupp, whom he married on September 18, 1968; two daughters, Kimberly (Dale) Carr of Sebring and Diana (Scott) Weimer of Alliance; his son, Samuel Rupp, II of Alliance; eight grandchildren, Lori, Brennan, Sidana, Matthew, Daniel, Erin, Sayer and Adaline; four great-grandchildren, Lydia, Tate, Mason and Isla; three sisters, Charlene (Willy) Henry, Diana (Doug) Charters and Tina (Lloyd) Wallace; a brother, Bill (Nancy) Berentz; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Richard and Loretta (Rupp) Wisse; and several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kirk Martin, of Alliance Christian Center, officiating.
