Ruth I. Haidet's Obituary
Ruth I. Haidet, 91, of 755 E. College St., died on Friday, December 6, 2002 at McCrea Manor. Born in Neville Island, Pennsylvania on March 21, 1911, she had lived in Alliance most of her life. Retiring from the Alliance Manufacturing Company, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Survivors include her husband, Lomar J. Dobe Haidet, whom she married June 27,1942; two sisters, Jean Simpson of Glasgow, KY, and Mary Lou Hardy of Bowling Green, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas E. and Bessie E. (Heidler) Walters; two sisters, Mildred Carter and Norma Burnett; and a brother, Robert J. Walters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
