Rose M. "Bee" Dawson's Obituary
Rose M. "Bee" Dawson joined her beloved husband Robert at 1:30 a.m. on June 8, 2007. Robert preceded her in death on December 2, 1992 after 48 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents Theresa and Nickolas Pistillo, a sister Pauline McCormick and brother Joseph Pistillo. She is survived by her children Beth and Larry Brown of Alliance and Robert N. Dawson of New Jersey, her grandchildren Nickolas Brienza of Massachusetts, Robert N. and Amie Dawson of New Jersey, Tiffany and Andrew Goddard of Canal Fulton and Matthew and Hope Brown of Alliance. Bee also had the joy of her being close to her three great grandchildren Jalyn, Drew and Alex Goddard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bee graduated from Alliance High School in 1940. She also graduated from Naval Inspection School in Chicago in 1943. She retired from Sherwood Manufacturing in 1985 after 25 years of employment there. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an active member of the Alliance Senior Center, Giving 60 s, RSVP Volunteers and Y-Wives. She will be very much missed by her family and remembered always for her sweet smile and her unconditional love and support. She treasured her family above all else as they treasured her and will continue to do through the wonderful memories she has left as her legacy. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
