Rose Butchelli's Obituary
Rose Butchelli, 99, of Limaville, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2:10 a.m. at Roselawn Geriatric Center. Born on November 4, 1913 in Alliance, she lived in Limaville most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She previously owned and operated Rose s Greenhouse in Limaville with her husband, Victor for many years. In her past-time, she enjoyed working in the garden and loved baking and cooking for friends and family. Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Pearson of Damascus; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Victor "Luigi" Butchelli on November 11, 1982, whom she married on September 4, 1937; two daughters, Margaret Butchelli, Anita Clark; a son, James Butchelli; her parents, Peter and Carmine (Ciufo) Rasile; three sisters, Mary Oates, Josephine Rasile, Grace Hite; and three brothers, John Rasile, Philip Rasile and Carl Rasile. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew M. Mankowski officiating. Interment will follow at Limaville Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
