Ronald O. Fraraccio's Obituary
Ronald O. Fraraccio, 78, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 20, 1935 in Alliance, where he lived all his life, and was a graduate of Alliance High School. After Ronald s service in the U. S. Army, he worked for his father at Eagle Bakery. Later he worked for A.R.A. Services and was a member of Teamsters Local 416. Ronald retired from the City of Alliance in 1998 after 10 years of service. He was a Precinct Chair Person for many years for the 2nd Ward. Mr. Fraraccio was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church where he served as an usher for more than 30 years. Ronald was a member of the Democratic Club and the AARP. In his past-time, he enjoyed riding his bicycle through the neighborhood, visiting his friends in nursing homes, and feeding the ducks at Silver Park. He was a loyal Mt. Union Football fan, along with rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Indians, Cavs and Browns. He is survived by his loving wife, Hettie Naomi (McClung) Fraraccio, whom he married on November 28, 1959; his son, Cory (Jill) Fraraccio; his daughter, Lory (Michael) Fraraccio-Kenney; his sons, Lenny (Lisa) Fraraccio and Ronnie Lee (Lisa) Fraraccio; grandchildren, Lindsey, Kaitlin, Josie and Lexi, Meghan, Kyle, Isabella and Nicolas, Guido and Roxanne; a great-grandson, Jaxon; a sister, Carol (Gary) Pfau; a twin-brother, Donald (Carole) Fraraccio; nieces, Kim Pfau, Jannet Blair and several other nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Ann (Trombitas) Fraraccio; his grandparents, Peter and Pauline (Fierra) Fraraccio; and a brother, Albert Fraraccio, Jr. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Friday, October 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Paul Tobin, as celebrant. Interment, with military honors provided by the Salem Amvets Post 45, will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
