Ronald Leroy Beck's Obituary
Ronald Leroy Beck, 63, of Alliance, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 4:00 a.m. at his home, surrounded by his loving family, as he wanted. He was born on December 16, 1946 in Alliance to the late Jefferson and Betty (Rodgers) Beck, and lived here all his life. Mr. Beck was employed by the Alliance City Street Department for 23 years. Ronald is survived by his wife of the last 31 years, Wanda L. (Barkey) Beck, whom he married on September 8, 1979; four daughters, Rhonda (Pat) Kelleher, Brenda (Randy) Robinson, Cindy (Mike) Greiner, all of Alliance, and Anita Battershell of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren, Dyan (Chip) Tucci, Matthew (Sara) Kelleher, Ashley (Larry) Chiporo, Brandon Battershell, Lisa (Travis) Williams, and Adam (Erin) Battershell; seven great-grandchildren, Logan and Emma Tucci, Olivia and Damion Chiporo, Shea Hawkins, Elena Kelleher and Victoria Battershell; eight siblings, Larry (Marsha) Beck, Walt (Pat) Beck, Janet Beck, Carol (Jim) Hale, Wilbur (Kay) Beck, Calvin (Pam) Beck, Pam (Rick) Webb, and Dale (Lydia) Beck; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Sebring First Church of Nazarene on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Kimball officiating.
