Ron Snyder's Obituary
Ron Snyder, 71, of Alliance, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 1:20 pm at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on September 16, 1943 in Alliance, to Harry T. and Ruby L. (Spears) Snyder. A 1961 graduate of Alliance High School, he lived in Alliance for most of his life. Ron retired as a Tool & Die Designer from Tru Cut Die in 2005. He was a member of Alliance Senior Citizens and the Fraternal Order of Eagles McKinley Lodge #237. Ron enjoyed line dancing, walking, music, tai chi, and electrical trains. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Bycraft) Snyder, whom he married on December 27, 1980; two daughters, Tonya M. Sedei and Rhonda C. Meadows both of Alliance; two granddaughters, Payton Meadows and Sydney Meadows both of Alliance; a grandson, Keegan Meadows of Alliance; a great-granddaughter, Aivah Meadows; two sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Ferguson of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Geraldine Carter of Alliance; several cousins; 14 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; 2 great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son-in-law, Terry Sedei. There will be no funeral services per his wishes. Interment will take place at Alliance City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
