Romulus F. Agnoni's Obituary
Romulus F. "Rom" Agnoni, 73, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 12:21 p.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. Born on June 20, 1933 in Alliance, he lived here all of his life, graduating from Alliance High School. A veteran of the U. S. Army, he served in Korea from 1953-1955. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1036. Mr. Agnoni was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #558. Rom had worked at the Morgan Engineering Company as a machinist for many years until its closing. He then was employed at Kent Machine Shop until his retirement. Mr. Agnoni was also a member of the Dante Alighieri Society and the Christopher Columbus Society. He enjoyed his past-time bowling and golfing. He is survived by a sister, Leah Agnoni of Alliance; a brother, Edward (Tina) Agnoni of Doylestown; nieces and nephews, Michael (Michelle) Agnoni, Lisa (Jason) King and Angie (Jereme) Willig; and great-nieces, Cori Marie Agnoni & Monica Ann Agnoni. Preceding him in death were his parents; John and Mary (Pistilli) Agnoni; and a sister, Clara R. Agnoni on September 20, 2006. The family will receive friends at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
