Roger A. Frank's Obituary
Roger A. Frank, 74, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1935 in Louisville and lived in Alliance most of his life. After graduating from Alliance High School, Roger served our country from 1955 - 1957 in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. Mr. Frank was employed at Sugardale Foods and retired in 1992. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, he was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. In his past-time, he enjoyed reading gun books and motorcycle magazines. He also enjoyed exercise & fitness and riding his bike. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey S. (Debbie) Frank of Homeworth, Andrew M. Frank of Sebring and Lori M. (Bill) Faudree of Alliance; five grandchildren; five sisters, Martha Price, Lucille MacIntee, Marie Kovacic, Agnes Bedford and Jean Frasher, all of Alliance; a brother, Cletus Frank of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Dorothy G. (Moler) Frank on September 15, 2009, whom he married on May 28, 1960; his parents, John and Isabelle (Samblanet) Frank; a sister, Hilda Viola; and two brothers, Clarence and Walter Frank. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
