Robert Leroy Wolf's Obituary
Robert Leroy Wolf, 80, of Alliance, died Sunday, February 16, 2003, at Community Care Center. Born in Moultrie, Ohio on March 11, 1922, he had been a resident of Alliance since 1947. He was a veteran of World War II with 39 months of service in the US Army. Mr. Wolf was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He retired after 35 years of service from Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of the Pioneers of America. Survivors include daughter, Lorene Wolf of Alliance; three sons, Thomas (Berlinda) Wolf of Conway, SC, Terry (Kathy) Wolf of Alliance, and Eric Wolf of Alliance; special family member, Patty Wiland; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother, Rolland Wolf of Minerva; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Bernice Ruth (Hizer) Wolf on April 30, 1997, whom he married June 18, 1947; and his parents, Roy and Ruth (Bates) Wolf. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, from 10:00 - 11 :00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Frank Gross Jr. of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
