Robert Raymond Specht's Obituary
Robert Raymond Specht, 78, of Beloit, died Monday, February 24, 2003, at 1:20 p.m. at Aultman Hospital. A lifelong resident of the Alliance area, he was born in Alliance on July 24, 1924. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. A member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring, he was the owner and operator of the former Spechts T.V. & Appliance store for over 30 years. An avid golfer and bowler, he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2174 andVFW Post 1036. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Floreanini of Alliance and Suzanne Gilster of Monument, CO; four sons, Richard Specht and Thomas Specht, both of Woodland Park, CO, Kenneth Specht of Atwater, and Robert Specht of North Canton; four grandchildren; companion, Elizabeth Mudore of Beloit; two sisters, Irene Doyle and Virginia Zoss, both of Alliance; step-sister, Thelma Vernon of Mt. Vernon; five brothers, Charles Specht of Alliance, William Specht ofFL, Henry Specht of Alliance, Jack Specht of Alliance, and Louis Specht of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his son, James Specht; his parents, Irving J. and Jennie Specht; and two sisters, Ruth Weiss and Anna Mae Diehl. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring on Friday, February 28, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin, as celebrant.
