Robert A. "Bobby" Lower Jr.'s Obituary
Robert A. "Bobby" Lower, Jr., 72, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:40 pm at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.
Born on May 1, 1942 in Alliance, to Robert A. and Twila (Grall) Lower, he lived in Alliance for all of his life.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Robert was employed at Pepsi Corporation as a driver for over 30 years and retired in 2006. He was a Life Member of V.F.W. Post 1036.
Robert enjoyed bowling, golfing, boating, camping, cruising, and fishing. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Bailey) Lower, whom he married on April 16, 1977; two daughters, Debra (Tim) Jenkins and Bobbi Jo Lower, both of Alliance; his son, Shawn (Angela) Lower of Newcomerstown; a sister, Barbara (Lee) Ramsayer of Alliance; a granddaughter, Heather M. Jenkins; four grandsons, Baylee M. Lower, Kobe A. Lower, Tyler D. Summers and Avery I. Lower; several nieces and nephews, and his k-9 companion, Cody.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. His Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Scott Miksell of Calvary Pentecostal Church of Sebring, officiating.
