Robert F. "Bob" Liebhart's Obituary
Robert F. "Bob" Liebhart, 86, of Alliance, died on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 4:15 a.m. at Akron City Hospital. He was born on May 17, 1921 in Salem, Ohio and lived in Salem until he entered the service. He served our country in the U. S. Army during World War II. After his discharge, he moved to Alliance. A member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and through the years, he had been employed at Lyons Service Station and at Bob s Service Station. He enjoyed old cars, outdoor work during the summer and watching old western movies. He was always willing to give a helping hand to his neighbors. He is survived by his wife, Elinore Ruth (Hantz) Liebhart, whom he married on June 26, 1967; a son, Robert A. Liebhart of Tuscan, AZ; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Edward Liebhart of Beloit, Richard Liebhart of Salem and Walter Liebhart of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph and Katherine (Stieger) Liebhart; three sisters, Elizabeth Noga, Katherine Schultz, and Sue Uncapher; and one brother, Joseph Liebhart. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, December 28, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Frank Gross, Pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
