Robert Lare's Obituary
Robert Lare, 77, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 11:35 p.m. at his home. He was born on June 14, 1932 in Marlboro Twp, and lived in Alliance all of his life. A graduate of Marlboro High School, he was a U. S. Marine veteran, serving in Korea. Robert was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He retired from Transue & Williams, where he was employed as a grinder for 25 years. Mr. Lare was a member of the Limaville Lions Club and the Horshoe Club. He also enjoyed camping. Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Sedoris) Lare whom he married on December 16, 1961; two sons, Robert Paul (Jerri) Lare of Alliance and James Lare of the home; three grandchildren, Amanda, Brieann and Drew; a great-granddaughter, Brooklynn; two sisters, Donna Bell of CA and Barbara Reynolds of Canton; two brothers, William (Donna) Lare of Alliance and Gene Lare of CA; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Janet (Lucas) Lare. Private services will be held. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Sawburg Ave., Alliance, OH 44601.
