Robert "Bob" King's Obituary
Robert "Bob" King, 67, of Alliance, died on Monday, August 6, 2007, at 11:53 a.m. He was born on September 4, 1939 in Marietta, and lived in Alliance most of his life. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy where he was a machinist on a submarine and a destroyer. Robert retired from B & W Research, where he was employed as the foreman of the machine shop. Mr. King enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, kiting and four wheeling. Bob is survived by his wife, of twenty eight years, Carol (Sechler) Ricci King; one daughter, Lori J. (David R.) Miller of Louisville; three sons, Bret R. King of Canon City, CO, Chris King of Lansing, MI and Chad E. King of Denver, CO; and six grandchildren, Heather King, Jennifer Miller, Tiffany Miller, David Miller Jr., Dorian Dye and Eddie R. Ricci. He was preceded in death by his son, Shannon King; a step-son, James E. Ricci; his parents, Lawrence and Kathryn (Strauss) King; and a sister, Mary Carolyn Chambers/Hemela. In honor of Bob s request there will be no services or calling hours.
