Robert Lee "Fry" Fryfogle's Obituary
Robert Lee "Fry" Fryfogle, 65, of Alliance, died on Sunday, March 15, 2009, at 4:40 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on July 3, 1943 in Alliance, Robert lived in Alliance all of his life, graduating from Alliance High School in 1961. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War Era. Mr. Fryfogle retired from Anheiser Bush Company in Canton, where he was employed as a driver and salesman. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #92. Robert was also a member of the American Legion Post 166, the Christopher Columbus Society, the Sleepy Hollow Country Club and the BPO Elks #467. His passions in life were his family, friends and playing golf. Robert was a loving husband to Sandy Lynn (Thomas) Fryfogle whom he married on April 20, 1974; a wonderful daddy to Amy Lynn Fryfogle of Alliance and Derek Lee (Kimmie) Fryfogle of Maineville; a brother to Eric Dean (Michele) Fryfogle of Homeworth; and an uncle to several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was a son, Anthony R. Fryfogle; his parents, Clifford and Mary (Polozzi) Fryfogle, Sr.; and a brother, Clifford "Sonny" Fryfogle. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
