Robert W. "Bob" Fagan's Obituary
Robert W. "Bob" Fagan, 57, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10:00 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1953 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of his life. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the V.F.W. Post #6730 in Sebring. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Bob was the Midnight Coordinator of the St. Dominic Adoration Chapel, was a prayer leader and founded the Sunday Morning Bible Study Group. He was also the leader of the Saturday Volunteers and the Save Our Church Program. Mr. Fagan was Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #558 where he was a member of the 3rd and 4th Degree. He was currently Customer Support Manager of Pro1 IAQ in Alliance, and was formerly the owner of R. Fagan Roofing. Bob enjoyed his family life and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pamela L. (Yeagley) Fagan whom he married on March 22, 1976; two daughters, Jeannie Kreitzer of Sebring and Rebecca Fagan of Alliance; two sons, David Schmid of Sebring and Robert S. Fagan of Dayton; four grandchildren, Reice, Madeline, Cameron and Abby; his mother, Norma (Hunt) Fagan of Alliance; two sisters, Amy (William) Flynn of Black River, N.Y. and Susie (Paul) Duncan of Salineville; three brothers, Jim (Mary) Fagan, Matt (Lori) Fagan and Frank (Frita) Fagan all of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were two grandchildren, Olivia and Evan; his father, Robert L. Fagan; an infant sister, Paula and a sister, Tara Eaton. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, November 27, 2010, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment, with military honors provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6730, will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
