Robert L. Eberling's Obituary
Robert Lee Eberling, age 82, passed away on October 21, 2024 with his wife by his side. Bob was born in Alliance on November 2, 1941. He was the son of the late Ellis and Dorothy (Leasure) Eberling. He worked as a truck driver for 42 years and retired from USF Holland.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret (Polverine) Eberling; their children, Tammy (Don) Tomello of Hartville and Mark Eberling of Paris; four grandchildren, Brittany (Zach) Johnson, Ryan (Carolyn) Tomello, Jacob Eberling and Rachel Eberling; one great-grandchild, Griffin Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Eberling; sisters, Dorothy Eberling and Shirley Favazzo; and daughter-in-law Kathy Eberling.
Bob loved sunshine, warm weather, being outdoors, the beach and mountains, and flying his 180-Cessna plane. He also loved spending time with his family, building new contraptions, and supporting his grandchildren in anything they were involved in, especially watching them play sports.
His greatest accomplishment was being married to the love of his life for 61 years.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Roy Teague, of Truth Baptist Church of Atwater, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
