Robert J. Bruni's Obituary
Robert J. Bruni, 77, fonnerly of Alliance, died on Saturday, May 10, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. at his home in Suffield Township. A lifelong resident of Alliance, he was born on November 21, 1925, and had graduated from Alliance High School. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was the owner and operator of the fonDer Bruni Brothers Wholesale and Vending Company. Mr. Bruni was a member of the Dante Alighieri Society, the Roma Club and the Christopher Columbus Society . Survivors include his son, Joseph Bruni of Suffield Township; a sister, Nonna Sapherstein of Prairie Village, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Hugo A. and Mary (Bett) Bruni; and a sister, Lanny Conti. Private services were held at Highland Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 13, 2003, with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
