Robert N. "Bob" Antram's Obituary
Robert N. "Bob" Antram, 75, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2004. A lifelong resident of Alliance, Bob was born on February 16, 1929 and graduated from Alliance High School in 1948. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army and was a life member of the VFW Post 1036. He had been employed as a machinist at Morgan Engineering and Kent Machine in Kent, OH. retiring in 1989. Bob attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was president of the Roma Society and was also a member of the Dante Alighieri and an avid Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Carli) Antram, (they were married on May 16, 1959); three daughters, Laurie (Dan) Brodzinski of Louisville, Jennifer (John) Sherban of Alliance, and Carolyn Antram of Alliance; two grandchildren, Benjamin Brodzinski and Brooke Brodzinski; a sister, Lucinda (Don) Peters of Dover, OH; and several nieces and nephews. His family and grandchildren were very important to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert N. and Florence (Yeagley) Antram, Sr. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 - 11 :00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
