Richard L. Howell Sr.'s Obituary
Richard L. Howell, Sr., 80, of Alliance passed away due to a short term illness on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 4:30 a.m. at Canterbury Villa. Born on September 9, 1931 in Alliance, he lived in Alliance all of his life. A veteran of the Korean War, Richard served our country in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Chrysler in Twinsburg in 1991, where he was employed as an inspector. Survivors include his wife, Flora A. (Mazzei) Howell whom he married on December 11, 1959; a daughter, Patricia "Pattie" Howell of Sandusky; a son, Richard L Howell, Jr. of Alliance; two grandchildren, Racheal and Jaret; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Cayden; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Mr. Howell in death were his parents, Thomas Blaine and Mable (Reynolds) Howell; five sisters; and five brothers. Private services will be held. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
