Richard L. Hooper's Obituary
Richard L. Hooper, 57, of Alliance, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 1:05 pm at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Born on June 19, 1957 in Pelee Island, Ontario Canada to Mahlon and Marguerite (Gardner) Hooper, he was a graduate of Windsor High School in Windsor, ON, Canada.
Richard was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and lived in Alliance for most of his life. He was employed with the City of Alliance, Parks & Recreation and Street Dept.
Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and just loved life itself. He was truly filled with the Holy Spirit.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia J. (Pisoni) Hooper, whom he married on September 2, 1981; son, Justin M. Hooper of Alliance; three sisters, Marilyn (Richard) Nast and Joan (Ron) Sime, both of Windsor, ON, & Sandra (Erv) Haettich of Pelee Island, ON; three brothers, Roger (Janice) Hooper, Ralph (Judy) Hooper, Howard (Jerry) Hooper, all of Pelee Island, ON; three sister-in-laws, Marlene Nelson of North Benton, OH, Carole Pisoni of Alliance, OH, & Eileen (Tim) Sanders of GA; brother-in-law, Jerry Pisoni of Sebring, OH; and special nephews & nieces.
Preceding him in death were his father, Mahlon Hooper; mother, Marguerite Hooper; brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Sharon Hooper; sister-in-law, Nettie Pisoni; brother-in-law, Robert Nelson; father-in-law, Leno Pisoni; mother-in-law, Mary Pisoni.
Per Richards wishes, there will be no Funeral Services.
