Richard A. Frank, Sr.'s Obituary
Richard A. Frank, Sr., 92, of Alliance, was reunited with his wife Pauline in Heaven. He passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 3:26 am at Community Care Center after a short illness. He was born on February 24, 1922 in Alliance, Ohio to Otto and Marie (Gulling) Frank and lived in Alliance for all of his life. He was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. A veteran of World War II, he served our country in the U.S. Navy. Richard retired as a Die Sinker from Alliance Drop Forging after 46 years of service. Richard is survived by his two daughters, Theresa (Lawrence Wells) Monter of Tuscarawas, OH, Sharon (Darrel) Troyer of Bartlett, TN; three sons, Lester (Peggy) Frank of Homeworth, OH, Richard (Bonnie) Frank Jr. of Alliance, OH, Donald (fianc e Kimberly Moyers) Frank of Streetsboro, OH; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sr. Helen Mary Frank of Cleveland, OH, Catherine Skolosh of Alliance, OH, Marlene (Jesse) Smith of Alliance, OH; two brothers, Paul (Florence) Frank of Alliance, OH, Harold (Judy) Frank of Homeworth, OH; two sister-in-laws, Mary Frank of Alliance, OH, Helen Frank of Homeworth, OH; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Wallace) Frank, whom he married on September 14, 1944 and died on September 23, 2005; his four brothers, Robert Frank, Bernard Frank, Arthur Frank, Edward Frank; father, Otto Frank; mother, Marie Frank; two sisters, Rita Resh, Margaret Brown; daughter-in-law, Mary Frank; and son-in-law, James V. Monter; . A Rosary Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 5:30p.m. followed by the family receiving friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:00 am, with Rev. Joseph Ruggieri, as celebrant. Interment, with military honors will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
