Richard Eberly's Obituary
Richard O. Eberly, 86, of Alliance, passed away on March 24, 2023 at 6:17 pm at Aultman Hospital, in Canton Ohio.
Born June 1, 1936, to Burl and Pauline Eberly in Massillon, Ohio, Dick lived most of his life in Alliance and spent his winters in Bonita Springs, Florida, with later life partner, Mary Beth Lauer.
Dick was a graduate of Alliance High School, class of 1954. After graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Bethyl J. Brown. She proceeded him in death, November 1988.
Dick served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1958, stationed in Germany.
His son Mark Richard was born in Germany June of 1957. June of 1960 Christopher Brian was born in Alliance Ohio, followed by Jonathan Matthew, April of 1967.
Dick retired from Columbia Gas after 36 years of service. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Internment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. He will be buried beside his wife Bethyl, together for eternity.
