Reginald "Reggie" Roosa's Obituary
Reginald "Reggie" Roosa, 49, of Alliance, was pronounced dead on arrival at Alliance Community Hospital Emergency Room on Friday, September 23, 2005 following a sudden illness. He was born in Alliance on June 23, 1956, and had lived here all of his life. He was the owner of Reggie s Place and was a member of the Roma Society and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Reggie was an avid golfer and motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Jill (Ganslein) Roosa, whom he married on July 1, 1989; two daughters, Katie Roosa of the home and Missy (Anthony) Boyle of Homeworth; three grandchildren; his father, Charles M. (Jan) Roosa of Alliance; his mother, Helen (Clayton E.) Wilson of Alliance; a sister, Robin Roosa and her companion David Hancock, a sister, Candy (Rick) Metzgar of Alliance; a brother, William C. (Nancy) Roosa of Alliance; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Cora Roosa and William and Mary Willis; and a brother, Neal M. Roosa. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
