Raymond Carlyle Steede, II's Obituary
Raymond Carlyle Steede, II, 23, of Mantua, died on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 8:45 p.m. at Children s Hospital of Akron. He was born on August 1, 1985 in El Paso, TX, and lived in Mantua most of his life. Raymond graduated from Marlington High School. Raymond was a member of the Streetsboro Challenger Baseball league. He enjoyed sports, fishing, outdoors, painting and blue collar comedy and he loved spending time with his family. Raymond is survived by his mother, Patricia Steede of Alliance, his father and step-mother, Ray and Keri Steede of Damascus; three sisters, Amanda Steede of Alliance, Korie Steede of Damascus and Alex Tubbs of Damascus; two brothers, Ryan Steede of Alliance and Nick Tubbs of Damascus; grandparents, Mike and Midge Newman of Alliance, great-grandfather, Jay Frederick of Alliance; a niece, Emma Hone and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Jack Steede; grandmother, Irene Steede McMahan; and great-grandmother, Mary Frederick. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Private family service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008.
