Ray Lea Shreve's Obituary
Ray Lea Shreve, 48, of Beloit, went home to be with the Lord following a short illness on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at 4:25 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Alliance on April 7, 1956, Ray lived in the Beloit area all of his life. A graduate of West Branch High School, he was a testing supervisor for DHI (Dairy Herd Improvement Corp.) for 30 years. Ray attended the Alliance First Assembly of God and was a member of East Goshen Friends Church. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jo (Brown) Shreve (whom he married April 23, 1983); two daughters, Rachael Nicole and Anna Elizabeth, both of the home; his parents, Harold S. and Evelyn M. (Smith) Shreve of Beloit; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sheldon S. and Sharon A. Brown, Sr. of Sebring; a sister, Linda M. Higgins of North Benton; 20 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, June 21, 2004, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, from 11 :00 - 12:00 noon. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Ping of the First Assembly of God and Reverend William Gross, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
